How is Alpine Water Purified ? |
|
Alpine's new water purification system offers the latest purification processes which meet or exceed WQA (Water Quality Association) and IBWA (International Bottled Water Quality Association) and KBS (Kenya Bureau for Standards) quality standards. Here at Alpine we believe Water quality to be our first priority, for this reason we have included this section so that our customers can be sure that Alpine water is premium quality great tasting water that is 100% safe. What do we have to take out of the water? Algae, are tiny bio-organisms that grow over time in wells, reservoirs, tanks and various water sources and are particularly active during the hot season. Bacteria, live naturally in the environment and are picked up by water on its travels to the tap. Dirt Particles, and mud deposits pollute the water. We use various filtration methods to ensure that even the tiniest particles are trapped and removed. Inorganic Contaminants, such as salts and metals, which can be naturally-occurring or result from urban storm water runoff, industrial or domestic wastewater discharges, oil and gas production, mining, or farming. Pesticides and Herbicides,
which may come from a variety of sources such as agriculture, urban storm
water runoff, and residential uses. Radioactive Contaminants, which can be naturally-occurring or be the result of oil and gas production and mining activities.
